DeviLAN App is the standard configuration and monitoring tool for synertronixx devices and modules. It uses UDP broadcast messages to request and change network configuration for modules like CAN2Web-Advanced or CAN2Web-Professional. TCP/IP communication is used for setting parameters and monitoring device.

... and now getting started ....

• First be sure that UDP identification programm is running at the network device.
  
• Press button "Refresh / Reload" to scan modules one time.
  
• Press button "Cyclic" to make DeviLAN App cyclic (all 5 seconds) scan for modules.
  
• All modules found will be listed in two sections depending on the module type (SCB9xxx oder SC12/SC13)
  
• To clear the list press "Delete" button (Trash can).
  
  
• Select one entry to get control view for a module.
  
• Modify the network settings in the way you need it.
  Changing a parameter will NOT send new values to module!
  
• Press button "Set" to send new settings to module.
  
• Press button "Refresh / Reload" to load nettwork settings again.
  
• Button "Reboot" will force a restart/reboot of the module.
  
• With button "Show webinterface in browser" a browser window will be opend with webinterface of module.
  
• Press button "Connect" to open a TCP/IP connection to module. Therefore the app will switch to tab "Socket"
  

• Enter IP address and port number of module.
  
• Press button "Connect" to open the TCP/IP connection.
  
• To disconnect press button again.
  
• When connection is open modul will send a type information. Depending on this message additional entries for dialogs will be shown.
  
• For CAN2Web module this are:
  "CAN configuration & View", "COM configuration & View", "Connection manager", "Options", "CANIO Search". Select an entry to go to a dialog.
  
  
• Also all received and transmitted messages are shown.
  
• To clear the listed messages press "Delete" button (Trash can).
  
• To send a message to module use the edit field and press button "Send".

• All CAN messages will be listed when switch
  "Show received messages" and
  "Show send messages" is on on dialog "Viewer Options".
  
  
• Use edit field to prepare a message for sending.
  
  
• Press button set "Send" to send the CAN message.
  
  
• To clear the listed messages press "Delete" button (Trash can).
  
  
  
  
  
• Use dialog "Viewer Options" to set message type (CAN2.0/CAN2.0B).
  
  
  
  
• Select a CAN messages to get detailed information.
  
  
  
  
• Press button "Settings" to get the dialog with CAN settings.
  
  
• To modify CAN settings just change the parameters.
  Changing will NOT send new values to module!
  
  
• Press button "Set" to send new settings to module.
  
  
• Press button "Refresh / Reload" to get actual configuration from module.
  
  
  
  
  
• Press button "Driver" to get the dialog with CAN driver information.
  
  
• Use button "Refresh / Reload" to update for received and transmitted messages.
  
  

• All messages will be listed when switch "Show messages" is on.
  
  
• Use edit field to prepare a message.
  
  
• Press button set "Send" to send the message in edit field
  
  
• To clear the listed messages press "Delete" button (Trash can).
  
  
  
• Press button "Settings" to get the dialog with COM settings.
  
  
• To modify COM settings just change the parameters.
  Changing will NOT send new values to module!
  
  
• Press button "Set" to send new settings to module.
  
  
• Press button "Refresh / Reload" to get actual configuration from module.
  
  

• First be sure that CAN2Web CAN bus settings will match to settings of CANIO.
  
  
• Press button "Refresh / Reload" to scan for CANIO modules on bus.
  
  
• All modules found will be listed.
  
  
• To clear the list press "Delete" button (Trash can).
  
  
  
• Select the entry to get control view for a single CANIO module.
  
  
• To modify digital outputs just change the switches.
  Changing a switch will NOT send new values to module!
  
  
• Press button "Set" to send a command with new settings to CANIO module.
  
  

• Just select an product entry to get detailed information.
  
  
• Press button "Webpage ..." to open the product webpage in your standard browser.
